I'm so so excited for my Mama and my younger brother, Michael, to visit me in Copenhagen. I love this city so much, and now know it well, and am glad for the chance to share it with more people that I love.

We had a few days off for Spring Break, so I wanted to spend that time exploring Denmark outside of Copenhagen. I was really happy to find out that a few good friends had the same idea!

Since my mother and Michael are visiting me during Spring break, I decided to do some traveling before they arrived. It felt like a nice way to get in some solo travel between Rebecca and Erin visiting last week, and my family coming the next.

I'm too excited about this post not to just immediately say that this was the best trip I've been on since moving to Copenhagen in August. 

This week I traveled south to Barcelona and Lisbon. I found beautiful beaches, a greater sense of independence, and an unexpected closeness to both my parents, despite them being an ocean's distance away.

Since we had already been to Western Denmark for core course week last semester, the full year design kids traveled to Berlin during the second semester instead. Here's what we saw and did.

Despite having a entire semester under my belt, it still felt good to re-establish a routine in Copenhagen. 

After a brief hiatus, I'm back in Copenhagen!

My time in Copenhagen was incredible. I am so happy that I decided to study abroad, and even happier that I am returning for a second semester. Since I won’t have to deal with a lot of the typical preparations, I’m reflecting on my first semester in order to better prepare for the second.

This week I visited a friend in Córdoba, family in Ribeira, and my first solo travel trip to Málaga!
